Chrysostomos Mparmpounis

Makis was born in Chalkidiki and has obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

During his student years, he was actively involved in youth organizations, serving as President of the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA), an international, independent, non-governmental organisation run by and for law students, in Thessaloniki (2020-2022) and in Greece (2022-2023). He was the co-Head of many Summer ELSA Law Schools, Law Conferences and of the 9th edition of the National Moot Court Competition.

He is the Head of the Organising Committee of the 85th International Council Meeting of ELSA.
In addition to achieve his invoment in the legal field, he has founded the Municipal Youth Council of Thessaloniki in 2019, a structure of active participation of young people who take initiatives on issues that concern them, and served as its President until 2022. Today, he is the President of Alumni Municipal Youth Council of Thessaloniki, and continues helping young people take a stand for their city.
