Ioannis Stofas

Βorn and raised in Athens. A graduate - with honors - of Arsakeio School in Psychiko, Yiannis, after successfully completing his undergraduate studies at the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (U.O.A.), obtained from the University of Strasbourg a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in European Law and from ESADE University of Barcelona a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Internet Law & Intellectual Property, as well as a Diploma in Skills & Management for Lawyers.

His main area of practice is Civil Law, with particular experience in cases of Real Estate Law and Land Registry.

He also specializes in matters of personal data protection and online privacy, as well as General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance, having received the relevant Certification (Certified DPO).

At the same time, he has considerable litigation experience, having represented numerous clients before the Civil Courts.

An appellate attorney, he is member of the Athens Bar Association since 2009 and since 2016 a member of the officially appointed lawyers of the Spanish Embassy in Athens.
